What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded for its physical therapy and discharge planning, making it a potential choice for short-term rehab. However, the recurring reports of poor hygiene, ignored medical needs, and unresponsive nursing staff are significant red flags. If you choose this facility, ensure you have a family member present frequently to monitor care and advocate for your loved one's medical needs.

Palm Beach Nursing Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many reviewers praising the physical therapy and social services teams for successful rehabilitation outcomes. Key Review Excerpts

My 93-year-old mother has been at Palm Beach Nursing Center for about a month now after slipping and injuring her knee, and the experience has been absolutely wonderful. From the moment she arrived, she has been raving about the food, the staff, and the overall environment.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

The facility is old and would benefit greatly from refurbishing or just general maintenance. The chairs provided for guests to sit on our old and dirty... The air conditioning unit in my mother's room was disgusting even after supposedly being cleaned.

Family member · 2024★★☆☆☆

Staff doesn't take patient symptoms seriously. As a relative with a Power of Attorney, I described symptoms suffered by my relative to a nurse who giggled and assured me the patient was fine. Next morning the patient was having heart issues.

Palm Beach Nursing Center has a concerning pattern with 38 deficiencies over four surveys, including three complaint-triggered issues where families filed reports. The facility struggles most with quality care delivery, medication management, and maintaining safe living environments. While all violations show correction dates, the recurring problems with basic care standards, resident rights, and safety issues suggest ongoing challenges that warrant careful consideration during your visit.
