What this means for your family

This facility has a standout admissions and therapy team, making it a strong candidate for short-term rehab if you can be present to advocate for your loved one. However, the recurring reports of hygiene neglect and poor nursing response times are significant red flags; we strongly recommend visiting during off-hours and weekends to observe the actual level of care provided.

Oxford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility's recent renovations, cleanliness, and the exceptional support provided by specific staff members like Tamika James. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding inconsistent nursing care, poor food quality, and hygiene issues such as patients being left in soiled linens. Families should be aware that while many have positive rehab experiences, there are recurring reports of neglect and communication failures that warrant careful investigation.

Key Review Excerpts

Not one time that we have visited was he not sitting in a soiled diaper sitting on soiled linens on his bed.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The facility is currently being renovated, and it is beautiful! It is clean and bright and now very modern. The facility has a brand-new rehab gym, dialysis center and a full ADL Suite.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

My mom and I chose this place and regret it. She was there for a month on November 2025. At first it was very promising. My mom enjoys the staff who were providing the therapy. But in the end with how terrible she was being treated by the aides, she decided to discharge herself.
