Key Review Excerpts

My dad has broken his hip & has dementia. They don't get him up to move as he should be exercised to work his musclesfor recovery... when he needs to go to the bathroom & calls for assistance, it has taken an hour and a half for some one to finally respond to their call for help.

Rehab patient's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The Oaks at Denville rehabilitation facility should be avoided at all costs! There is absolutely no continuity in care as they have mostly contract nurses and therapists.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My husband and I moved into the Oaks 2 years ago. It has been the best decision. There are so many positive things about The Oaks. The apartments are very well built and extremely quiet.

The Oaks at Denville shows recurring problems across multiple surveys, with safety and medication management being the most concerning areas. Fire safety, emergency lighting, and electrical systems have appeared as deficiencies in each of the three surveys, while medication management issues persist with problems in drug labeling and dosage reduction protocols. One family filed a complaint about bed rail safety practices. Though all deficiencies were reportedly corrected, the repeated safety violations suggest ongoing maintenance challenges that families should discuss during visits.
