What this means for your family

This facility has a dedicated core staff that many families find compassionate, but there are significant red flags regarding administrative communication and resident safety. Before committing, we strongly advise you to tour the facility and ask specifically about their elopement prevention protocols and how they handle coordination of care with outside medical providers.

Mary Agnes Manor receives highly polarized feedback, with many reviewers praising the staff's compassion and the facility's welcoming atmosphere, while others report critical failures in safety, communication, and basic responsiveness. Families should be aware of serious allegations regarding resident elopement and poor administrative follow-through, which contrast sharply with the positive experiences of those who feel the staff treats residents like family.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff at Mary Agnes Manor have been truly wonderful in supporting our family member who lives there. They are always willing to talk with us and offer support seven days a week.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

We were out walking in the neighborhood today and spotted a lost resident of this place who was walking in the middle of the street with a walker and suitcase. When we called Mary Agnes they refused to pick him up unless he paid for it.

Community member · 2023☆☆☆☆

Communication is horrible. Mental health providers in the community do not get return calls regarding residents status, health etc from administrators.
