What this means for your family

This facility offers an excellent activity program, particularly for memory care, which many families find highly beneficial. However, because multiple reviewers have raised concerns about understaffing and slow response times, we strongly recommend you visit during off-hours and ask specifically about the staff-to-patient ratio on weekends.

Key Review Excerpts

I transferred my mother who suffers from Alzheimer’s to Lifecare from another memory care facility in April. We have been so happy with this decision and most importantly my mother has never been happier! The Minot Unit is amazing they have the most engaging activities from cooking, gardening, singing, dancing, painting and so much more.

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

My mom has been a resident for years, and I'm very satisfied with her care. The staff are lovely and kind and the place is always clean when I visit -- even on Christmas Day when I know they are short staffed.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★

This facility is mediocre at best. Parking is terrible during the day. The facility isn't always clean. From rooms, hallways to bathrooms debris on the floor. My family members room was infested with flies. Patients are oftentimes soiled, wet and changed 1x daily unless you request them to be changed.
