What this means for your family

While the facility has a history of a warm, social atmosphere, recent reports indicate serious lapses in clinical care and communication. If you are considering this facility, you must be prepared to monitor your loved one's care closely and maintain frequent, direct contact with their medical team, as recent reviews suggest the facility may not proactively communicate health changes.

Legacy Health and Rehab presents a stark contrast in experiences, with older reviews praising a warm, family-like atmosphere and an active social environment. However, recent feedback from 2023 and 2025 highlights severe concerns regarding patient neglect, poor hygiene, and failures in medical communication. Families should be aware of the significant discrepancy between the facility's social reputation and the reported quality of clinical care.

Key Review Excerpts

THEY ARE NOT CLEAN AT ALL.. MY UNCLE’S DAUGHTER SENT HIM HERE. HE WAS VERY HEALTHY WHEN HE GOT THERE AND A FEW MONTHS LATER HE ENDED UP MALNUTRITION WITH A SEVERE STAPH INFECTION AND PNEUMONIA.

Family member of resident · 2025☆☆☆☆

The care is terrible, they don’t think to inform the family BEFORE sending out your loved one to the hospital.. which is the first I’ve heard and seen of that. Staff lies about the care they are giving, so don’t trust their word.

Family member of resident · 2023☆☆☆☆

I've been a patient for 3 months. It's so wonderful here that I'm not looking forward to leaving. I've made good friends here and the staff is one in a million.
