What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded by many families for its engaging activities and compassionate staff, particularly for long-term care. However, there is a recurring pattern of communication issues and reports of neglect regarding basic needs. We strongly recommend visiting in person to observe staff responsiveness and asking for a direct contact number for the nursing station to ensure you can reach your loved one.

55 reviews analyzed
Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center receives polarized feedback, with many families praising the compassionate staff and clean environment, while others report serious concerns regarding neglect and communication. While numerous reviewers highlight specific staff members for their dedication, several negative accounts describe issues with hygiene, responsiveness to call lights, and difficulty reaching staff by phone. Families considering this facility should weigh the frequent reports of a 'family-like' atmosphere against the recurring complaints about basic care standards and administrative accessibility.

Key Review Excerpts

The nurses, aides, and therapists were absolutely wonderful – they treated my mom with kindness, respect, and genuine care.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

The staff was extremely nice but he was there for therapy and they did nothing to help our situation ! He was sent home unable to walk and no walker or wheelchair or anything we need ! This place was dirty and there was dried food on the wall beside his head where he was sleeping !

Rehab patient's family · 2023★★☆☆☆

The communication is top notch. And that's a big thing for me. I highly recommend Lee County Care and rehabilitation center.
