What this means for your family

Lakeview Terrace offers a beautiful, active environment for independent living, but families should be cautious regarding the long-term transition process. We strongly recommend asking management for specific data on memory care availability and waitlists before committing, as some families have reported difficulty accessing higher levels of care when needed.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1We've heard such wonderful things about how beautiful and well-maintained the grounds are; could you show us some of the outdoor areas where residents enjoy spending time?
  • 2With the high staffing ratings you have, how does that extra attention translate to the daily care and personalized attention each resident receives?
  • 3We noticed the fitness center and golf amenities are a highlight here; what kind of daily social activities or community events are available to keep residents engaged?
  • 4Could you tell us more about the dining experience, specifically how the menu is planned and how you ensure food quality remains consistent?
  • 5Since we are looking closely at specialized care, what specific protocols or dedicated spaces do you have in place for residents needing memory care support?
  • 6How does the nursing team handle medical emergencies or changes in a resident's condition during the overnight hours?

Key Review Excerpts

This place has been an absolute nightmare for my family. They do not have enough memory care and assisted living quarters to match all the villas they are building. It might be great for the first several years, but as soon as your loved ones need more assistance, they fail miserably.

Memory care family member · 2022☆☆☆☆

Very nice place with alot of accommodations. The wait staff for the dining area and the food menu could use improvement. The staff aren't very friendly or attentive and the food is usually luke warm

Resident/Visitor · 2024★★★★

While we met many many residents in that time that have become dear friends, many of the promises made by management never materialized......and in the end were significant enough to warrant our leaving.
