What this means for your family

This facility is an excellent choice if your primary priority is finding a compassionate, family-oriented staff and high-quality rehabilitation. However, if you are sensitive to the aesthetics of an older building or are concerned about pest control and maintenance, you should conduct an in-person inspection of the specific room before admission.

Families can expect exceptionally compassionate and attentive care, with many reviewers highlighting a staff that treats residents like family. While the facility is frequently described as an older, dated building that lacks modern luxury, the clinical care and rehabilitation services are highly praised. However, potential residents should be aware of specific concerns regarding building maintenance, such as pest issues and room repairs, as well as historical disputes regarding billing and lost personal property.

Key Review Excerpts

We were told before we went that the building itself is kind of old and ugly, but the people are solid gold. We found that to be the case.

Rehab patient's family · 2026★★★★★

My mom had poor experience at pure health transitional care in Arlington for her rehabilitation. She was relocated to La Dora. although the building is an older building, the care staff is top quality. A+. The kitchen staff and food quality is on point.

Rehab patient's family · 2024★★★★★

The building is in poor state. The wall baseboards are damaged (a lot of cracks), the room and the room closet were infested of roaches and when reported, the staff chose to not take care of it until three days later.
