Questions for Your Tour

  • 1Given the recent renovations, how do you ensure that the high quality of the facility's physical environment is matched by the daily clinical care provided to residents?
  • 2I noticed some feedback regarding communication; could you walk me through the standard process for how families are updated on their loved one's health status and daily progress?
  • 3With your current staffing levels, what specific protocols are in place to ensure that residents receive timely assistance and consistent medication management throughout the day and night?
  • 4I see you have an impressive fitness center; what does a typical day of activities look like for a resident who wants to stay active and engaged?
  • 5How does your nursing team coordinate with primary physicians to ensure that any changes in a resident's condition are addressed immediately?
  • 6Since responsiveness is so important to our family, could you explain the best way for us to reach the care team if we have a question or concern about our loved one's care?

Key Review Excerpts

The communication is terrible! Way overpriced for the quality of care being given. Messages are not returned. Lack of communication from nurses as to updates or between staff.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

It's a shame that he was allowed to fall into such bad shape from lack of proper care. By the time he got to the hospital, he had pneumonia, DKEA, respiratory distress and more fractures than he went in with.

Friend of resident · 2025☆☆☆☆

The nurses don’t care about their patients and it really shows. Everything is just a facade. If you love your family you’ll find somewhere else to take them.

Grandchild of resident · 2025☆☆☆☆

5 complaint-triggered

This facility has concerning patterns with families filing complaint reports about abuse prevention and resident rights violations. The most recurring issues involve fire safety systems, care planning, and infection control, with problems persisting across multiple surveys from 2023-2025. While the facility corrects deficiencies when cited, the repetitive nature of safety violations and complaint-triggered investigations regarding resident protection suggest ongoing operational challenges that warrant careful consideration.
