What this means for your family

While the facility receives praise for its small, family-oriented culture and therapy services, the recent, severe reports regarding unsanitary conditions and lack of basic supplies are deeply concerning. We strongly advise families to conduct an unannounced tour to inspect the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms personally, and to ask management directly about their current supply chain for essential hygiene products.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1I noticed the facility has a very warm, family-oriented reputation; how do you ensure that same level of personal attention is balanced with the current staffing levels?
  • 2We have read that cleanliness is a top priority for families; could you walk us through your current housekeeping schedule and how you maintain sanitary conditions in resident rooms?
  • 3Communication is very important to us, so what is the best way for families to reach the nursing team, and what is your protocol for ensuring phone calls are returned promptly?
  • 4Regarding daily supplies like hygiene products, how does the facility manage inventory to ensure that residents always have what they need on hand?
  • 5Given the recent focus on rehabilitation therapy here, how do you integrate those sessions into a resident's daily schedule while ensuring they still have time for social activities and emotional well-being?
  • 6I see that you actively respond to feedback online; how do you use that family input to make tangible improvements to the dining experience and overall quality of care?

Key Review Excerpts

The place is filthy, they put my brother n law in a room with a woman, had extention cords all over the place hanging from the ceiling, bed pans on the floor, no rails on the beds, cinder block walls , floors were not clean, the food they brought him was a slice of bread with cheese and crumbled up ham that was dried out.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

It is falling apart and the smell will make you throw up. Please think twice before letting one of your loved ones stay there.

Visitor/Delivery · 2024☆☆☆☆

This place has no bedside manners, never have diapers for these residents, not clean, no wipes (I have to bring my sisters all the time).
