What this means for your family

Hawthorne offers a clean environment with a highly regarded therapy team, making it a strong candidate for physical rehabilitation. However, families should be aware of inconsistent nursing care, particularly during night shifts, and should proactively monitor communication with administration to ensure their loved one's needs are being met.

Key Review Excerpts

The PT and OT staff, especially Tim, Sue, Leo, Joseph, and Tyler: the nursing/counter staff, especially Barbara, Jacqueline, Blandine, Rebecca, and Crystal; Lindsay in the social services department, and the ever-helpful Diana at the front desk.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★

The day staff is very helpful as well as the therapy. I will say that please be careful with the night staff. My father was taunted because he was mobile and was in his room. They insisted that he lay in bed at night.

Memory care family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

I was able to connect with Karla at Hawthorne and she helped me get my mother moved the next day to Hawthorne. Karla text with me to help and gave me her personal attention to get the transfer done and I really appreciated that.
