What this means for your family

Harbour's Edge is widely regarded as a top-tier destination for post-surgical rehabilitation, with many families reporting excellent recovery outcomes. However, families of long-term residents should be cautious; please inquire directly about current staffing ratios for overnight aides and the facility's process for communicating medical updates to family members, as these have been recurring points of friction.

However, some long-term residents and family members have expressed significant concerns regarding declining service quality, understaffing, and poor communication from management. While the facility is frequently described as a top-tier choice for post-surgical recovery, potential residents should be aware of these reported inconsistencies in daily care and administrative responsiveness.

Key Review Excerpts

Rehab was fantastic!!! I could not imagine a better run facility. Nursing care, physical therapists, dining staff - all A-Plus!

Rehab patient family member · 2025★★★★★

Aides that were hired through this facility to watch my mother through the night were either sleeping or were not in the room with my mother when she tried to get out of bed on her own. This resulted in her falling several times and suffering injuries.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The care & attentiveness was first class we can’t say enough to show our gratitude unfortunately she is in need of PT again... and our hopes are she will be able to go here again to get her up and walking again!
