What this means for your family

While the facility has some dedicated staff members who provide quality care, the recent ownership change has led to significant operational instability. Families should be cautious and specifically inquire about current staffing ratios, the status of facility maintenance, and the consistency of the dining program before committing to admission.

Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently experiencing a period of significant instability following a change in ownership and management in 2025. While some families report positive experiences with individual staff members and rehab outcomes, a growing number of reviewers cite severe declines in food quality, maintenance, and administrative responsiveness. Key Review Excerpts

They could use more Staffing it would help immensely. The food was so so could use Improvement.

Rehab patient · 2025★★★★

Unfortunately, to date, the transition has been a disaster. Many of the services have been reduced or eliminated. In addition, the restaurant has reduced portion sizes and the higher quality meal choices have been taken off of the menu.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The quality of life has gone down drastically. Amenities, food, programming, transportation, and responsiveness are poor. Elevators go out routinely and the "chair" to help folks down the stairs were broken.
