Key Review Excerpts

I cannot say enough about nurse Chistina and nurse Braithwaite for helping us to understand what was going on. The CNA's are to be commended for their respectful, kind and gentle ways when speaking with my father and repositioning him.

Long-term resident's family · 2021★★★★★

DO NOT send your loved ones here. Refused to call an ambulance for my father, who has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. He couldn't breath. They have him a pain pill and anxiety pill, all whole telling him "he wouldn't be coming back" to Gentle Care.

Family member of resident · 2025☆☆☆☆

Building seems a little dated but staff were always friendly. Food for patients was of decent to good quality.

1 complaint-triggered

This facility has persistent issues with fire safety systems and emergency preparedness that recur across multiple surveys, with sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and emergency drills repeatedly cited in 2022, 2024, and 2025. One family filed a complaint regarding accident prevention and safety supervision in 2024. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the repeated nature of fire safety violations suggests ongoing challenges maintaining these critical systems.
