What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded for its physical and occupational therapy programs, making it a strong candidate for short-term rehab. However, families should be vigilant regarding long-term care; we strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to assess staffing levels and cleanliness for yourself, as these are the most frequently cited concerns.

FutureCare Charles Village receives polarized feedback, with many patients praising the high-quality physical and occupational therapy teams for their dedication and effectiveness. However, significant concerns regarding facility maintenance, cleanliness, and inconsistent staffing levels—particularly on night shifts and weekends—are frequently raised by families. Potential residents should be aware that while the clinical rehab outcomes are often rated highly, the physical environment and basic care responsiveness remain points of contention.

Key Review Excerpts

The best therapy staff I've ever nent Ursula and Jena treated me like I was family .ik really going to to miss them oh forgot my buddy Ed thank you for everything

Rehab patient · 2023★★★★★

The staff here has always treated my mother with kindness and respect! She has been seizure free her whole time here, they worked to get her medications in order, and have always been communicative with me about her care.

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

Grandmother arrived there in October after breaking her hip. Thanksgiving weekend she was making progress and walking across the room. They left her IN BED that whole weekend while minimum staff was there and continued to feed her MUSH that she wouldn't eat so she got skinnier and weaker.
