Key Review Excerpts

It stinks like pee. When I went into my friend's room I found it wasn't air conditioned, only the halls were, so she was suffering from the heat. And it was filthy in there, the trays from several meals piled up.

Friend of resident · 2024☆☆☆☆

He got nothing but bed sores the staff wouldn’t clean him properly. Wound care was never done properly the staff was rude to him and ignored him and other residents call light.

Family member of resident · 2026☆☆☆☆

The Social Worker Taylor is amazing. So helpful with anything we need done. She goes out of the way to help the patients!!

Dixon Healthcare Center has a concerning pattern of recurring complaints from families, generating nearly half of its 95 deficiencies. The facility has persistent problems with resident protection from abuse and neglect, medication management, and infection control that appear repeatedly across multiple surveys. While the facility reports correcting issues when cited, the ongoing pattern of similar violations suggests systemic problems that families should carefully consider before placement.
