What this means for your family

While the facility has a strong reputation for physical therapy and friendly front-office staff, the recurring reports of delayed response times and hygiene issues are concerning. Families should conduct a tour during evening or weekend hours to observe staffing levels firsthand and ask specifically how the facility handles call-button response times.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother was sent here for rehab after having surgery on her femur. She wasn’t even there for 24 hours. She was refused food, a bed pan, her basic medication, she was left sit in her wheelchair for hours and never checked on.

Rehab patient's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The morning staff is nice and considerate and on point. After 3pm all hell breaks loose...they walk pass your room looking in all shift but once you pushed that call button they are no where to be found.

Rehab patient · 2023★★☆☆☆

My dad could not walk when he got to Cypress Point, but with in a week he was able to use a walker. With in 2 weeks he could use a cane. We were able to take him soon after that. It was because of the PT group and the stuff that made this happen.

Cypress Pointe has significant ongoing concerns with 60 deficiencies across four surveys, including families filing complaint reports about infection control, pain management, and medical records. The facility repeatedly struggles with care planning, medication management, and infection control issues appearing consistently from 2018 through 2024. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistent pattern across multiple years in critical care areas suggests systemic challenges that families should carefully consider.
