These current public-data fields deserve follow-up with the facility and the official Medicare record. They are not a clinical risk score or a substitute for an in-person assessment.
This facility has areas of concern that warrant careful consideration. Registered Nurse hours are 43% of the EveryPlace reference benchmark; ask how RN coverage is allocated across shifts. The latest standard survey recorded 11 findings, above the NJ average of 8.5. We recommend asking the administrator directly: "How are you addressing recent staffing shortfalls?" These are not reasons to panic, but they are reasons to ask tough questions and visit in person.
Complete Care at Voorhees receives highly polarized reviews, with many families praising the facility's cleanliness, friendly staff, and effective rehab programs, while others report severe neglect, poor hygiene, and inadequate staffing. While some visitors describe a welcoming, odor-free environment, a significant number of reviewers cite persistent issues with strong odors, slow response times, and concerns regarding medication management and patient safety.

Key Review Excerpts
“The rehab staff was great my son couldn’t even move his leg when he got there and the first day they helped to learn how to get out of bed and into a wheelchair so he could use the bathroom on his own.”
“My mom was there for rehab not even a full week and one night they had run out of food to serve for the patients. My mom has diabetes and even if she didn’t it is completely unacceptable to not have enough food for the clients within the facility.”
“It’s not perfect. Some days there are agency aides who don't get her out of bed or dress her properly. But on the days the normal staff are there she is clean and happy.”
Both RN and total nursing hours are below the EveryPlace reference benchmarks. Ask the facility how it staffs each shift for current resident needs.
Reference benchmarks (0.75 RN and 4.1 total nursing hours per resident/day) are comparison targets, not current federal minimum requirements.

Most concerning are recurring deficiencies in nutrition and food services, medication management, and safety standards that persist across multiple surveys from 2022 through 2025. While the facility reports correcting issues, the pattern of repeated problems in critical care areas like wound care, accident prevention, and resident protection suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should carefully evaluate before choosing this facility.

Some summaries, interpretations, suggested questions, and pricing research are AI-generated or AI-assisted and may contain errors or omit important context. Listings do not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or advertisement, and we do not accept payment for placement.
