What this means for your family

While the facility is physically well-maintained and offers effective physical therapy, the recurring reports of neglect and poor communication are significant red flags. Before choosing this facility, we strongly recommend asking for a tour, observing staff response times to call lights, and requesting a clear explanation of their communication protocols for family updates.

Key Review Excerpts

The facility is beautiful, contemporary, clean, well equipped and very well maintained. Beautiful rooms, dining area, landscaping, a bird sanctuary and a beautiful physical therapy area with all disciplines of therapy.

Long-term resident's family · 2018★★★★★

The rehabilitation therapists I give them 5+ stars, but of course they don't actually work for Cherry Hill. The CNA's and some of the LPN's and RN's are terrible. They are very lazy, some always had a very bad body smell.

Rehab patient · 2022☆☆☆☆

I cannot say enough good things about the care my mother received at Cherry Hill Healthcare Center as they prepared her for a very special milestone — her first cruise at age 70. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond.

Cherry Hill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center shows a pattern of corrected deficiencies with no complaint-triggered issues, suggesting responsive management when problems are identified. The facility has had recurring issues with fire safety systems and smoke detection equipment across multiple surveys, along with problems in nutrition services and care planning. While all deficiencies have correction dates on file, the repeated fire safety violations across different years indicate this area needs ongoing attention.
