What this means for your family

While recent reviews suggest a positive turnaround in culture and therapy services, the history of severe medical neglect and medication errors is a critical red flag. If you choose this facility, you must physically visit frequently and verify that all medical protocols, especially for chronic conditions like diabetes, are being strictly followed.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

14 reviews analyzed
Families should exercise extreme caution due to severe allegations of medical neglect, medication errors, and malnutrition. While some recent visitors praise the therapy team and the friendliness of the nursing staff, there are deeply concerning reports of life-threatening lapses in care for diabetic residents.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother went into that facility for what was supposed to be a temporary stay. A few months. She did not go into this place with any terminal illnesses. The mistakes were from the jump. She was diabetic, they never gave her her necessary medications or even tested her blood sugar. A year later she went septic, we never found out why. She passed away a few months later, cause of death was severe malnutrition and neglect.

Family of deceased resident · 2024☆☆☆☆

The staff is awesome. This facility took my loved one in when there was no one in the state of Texas would. They have nursed her back to health and they love her dearly and she loves them as well.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★★

From the moment I walked in the door- I was treated with happy residents, friendly staff, and an exceptional team. The culture- from housekeepers, CNAs, nurses (Teresa is fantastic!!) and administrator- is evident.

Families have filed 11 complaints triggering inspections, with serious issues including abuse/neglect violations and medication errors requiring immediate attention.
