What this means for your family

While Ambassador Healthcare is praised for its rehab therapy and clean environment, the recurring reports of neglect and poor night-shift clinical oversight are significant red flags. If you are considering this facility, I strongly recommend conducting unannounced visits during evening or weekend hours to observe staffing levels and care quality firsthand.

Key Review Excerpts

The facility needs upgrading, but the people make the difference. In the memory care unit, the patients are cared for very closely. Not only is the care frequent, but the nurses, aids, and even the housekeepers know how to care for patients that need extra understanding.

Memory care family member · 2022★★★★★

My husband was there for therapy after a hip replacement, we were told about how nice the facility was and was very disappointed in his room as soon as I walked in, the walls were beat up, the lift chair didn’t work properly and neither did his bed.

Rehab patient's spouse · 2025☆☆☆☆

Some of the staff are great only some the CNA talk about the patients and act as if they are not even human. My mother has been left in one spot for multiple days even weeks, she is supposed to be turned every so often.
