What this means for your family

Given the severe reports of neglect and communication failures, we strongly advise families to conduct unannounced visits during off-hours to observe actual staffing levels and response times. While some individual staff members are praised for their care, the systemic issues regarding medical management and hygiene are significant red flags that require thorough investigation before placement.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

15 reviews on Google
Accura Healthcare of Muscatine (formerly Premier Estates) faces significant criticism regarding patient neglect, poor communication, and unprofessional administrative practices. While some reviewers praise individual staff members for their kindness, recurring reports of unaddressed medical needs, hygiene issues, and staffing shortages suggest a inconsistent and potentially unsafe environment.

Key Review Excerpts

Especially to ‘Penny’ one of the night nurses who was one of the sweetest, caring health care workers I’ve ever met!

Recent resident's family · 2022★★★★★

WAITED 30 MINUETS RINGING THE BELL TO PICK UP A PATIENT. NOT ONE PERSON CAME TO THE DOOR. THEY LOOKED AT YA AND WENT ON.

Visitor · 2022☆☆☆☆

My Mother was taken to this hell hole yesterday. As a hospice patient she is in her last days. Left with no meds for over 24 hours not helped with her meals and left in front of her window which is the only place we can see her half naked and exposed.
