What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded for its rehabilitative therapy and the genuine kindness of its nursing staff. However, because there have been documented instances of serious medication errors and concerns regarding staffing levels, families should specifically ask about their medication double-check protocols and how they manage patient ratios during night and weekend shifts.

How They Respond to Reviews

17%response rate
Generic

The owner uses highly repetitive, templated responses for the vast majority of 5-star reviews, often using the exact same phrasing regardless of the review content. While they attempt to personalize negative reviews with empathy and a call to action, the overall pattern is heavily reliant on copy-paste templates.

Key Review Excerpts

Deanne, occupational therapist, was amazing. She worked with me to get me back to standing and walking and using the restroom. Thank you!

Rehab patient · 2026★★★★

Please do not send your loved one to West Oaks. My dad was transferred there after a hospital stay and due to their poor admission process (none at all) and their lack of review of my dad’s medications, he was given 4x the amount of insulin needed. This put him into a diabetic coma and sent him back to the hospital within 30 hours of being at West Oaks.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

The facility was clean, did not smell at all, did not have a nursing home or rehab vibe. The person at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The staff were all so kind and upbeat.
