What this means for your family

While the facility offers strong therapy and dining services, the recurring reports of slow response times and understaffing are significant red flags. We strongly recommend visiting during off-peak hours to observe staff responsiveness firsthand and asking management specifically about their protocols for medication oversight.

Key Review Excerpts

The food, cleanliness, therapy staff were good. The poor review comes from the fact the nurse swapped out pain meds with melatonin pills, after the complaint was made this nurse was allowed to return to work the next day.

Family member of resident · 2024☆☆☆☆

Nice facility, good food, and clean. Good physical therapy and occupational therapy support. However, they are either under-staffed or the staff is not attentive enough.

Family member of resident · 2024★★☆☆☆

You push the button for help and if you are lucky they will come in maybe 15 minutes. As you walk up and down the hallways, there are literally people yelling for help! It was beyond depressing.

This facility has faced significant inspection challenges with families filing complaints that led to findings regarding medication management, abuse reporting, and emergency care protocols. The record shows recurring issues across medication management, infection control, and fire safety systems, with medication-related deficiencies appearing in multiple surveys from 2023 through 2024. While all documented deficiencies have correction dates, the pattern of repeated violations in key care areas warrants careful consideration during any visit.
