Questions for Your Tour
- 1I noticed that you actively engage with feedback online; how does that commitment to transparency translate into how you address daily concerns from families?
- 2Given that staffing levels can fluctuate, what specific protocols do you have in place to ensure consistent care and responsiveness during weekend shifts?
- 3We value the warm, family-like atmosphere mentioned by many, but could you walk us through your current housekeeping schedule and how you maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility?
- 4Since medication management is a priority for us, could you explain your process for ensuring accuracy and how you communicate any changes in a resident's health status to their family?
- 5With your strong physical therapy program, how do you integrate those therapeutic goals into the daily life and social activities of the residents?
- 6When we need to reach out with a question or concern, what is the most reliable way to connect with the nursing staff, and what is your typical turnaround time for a response?

Key Review Excerpts
“The staff went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible. They gave her the reassurance she needed to feel comfortable in her new surroundings, which meant the world to me.”
“I have been a resident at Vanceburg Hills two different times and each time I was treated with respect. First time I was there in 2012 for therapy from both knees being replaced. I had great therapists that had me out of there in two weeks and five days.”
“The only downside that I seen was when I visited it had a urine smell that could be a bad thing. Also on the weekend it seemed there was not enough Aids on duty.”
