Questions for Your Tour

  • 1Given that the facility has a 1-star CMS staffing rating, how do you ensure consistent, high-quality care for residents when you are relying on temporary or agency staff?
  • 2I understand that maintaining a clean environment is a priority here; how do you balance that with the challenges of keeping the building updated and ensuring all hygiene standards are met consistently?
  • 3With reports of concerns regarding resident safety and neglect, what specific oversight measures or internal protocols do you have in place to ensure every resident is treated with dignity and protected from harm?
  • 4What does a typical daily schedule look like to ensure residents remain engaged and active, especially given the smaller room sizes and the homey, non-sterile atmosphere you strive to maintain?
  • 5How does your team handle medical emergencies or sudden changes in a resident's health status, and at what point do you involve the family in those decisions?
  • 6I noticed your administrative team is highly regarded for helping families through the transition process; how do you maintain that level of support and communication once a resident is settled in?

Key Review Excerpts

VERY clean, no odors, dirty or unclean surroundings, rooms or patients. Friendly and helpful staff!

RN assisting with care · 2024★★★★★

It NEVER smells bad, always clean and the staff has been very helpful. I can always get ahold of them on the phone. The building is not new, the rooms are small but as long as she get good loving care, that's what is important and she loves the food.

Resident's daughter · 2024★★★★

When she was first placed here we were warned by a resident that the staff was bad about changing residents. We went to visit her one weekend end and she lie in bed in her underwear fully exposed to anyone walking by.
