What this means for your family

The Greens at Viewmont is frequently praised for its effective rehabilitation therapy and dedicated staff members, making it a strong contender for short-term recovery. However, given the serious reports of hygiene issues and lapses in patient care, we strongly advise families to conduct an unannounced tour of the specific hall where their loved one would reside and to ask direct questions about staffing ratios on weekends.

The Greens at Viewmont receives polarized feedback, with many families praising the dedicated nursing and therapy staff for successful rehabilitation outcomes. However, there are recurring, serious reports of neglect, poor facility hygiene, and communication failures that potential families must investigate thoroughly. While many residents feel well-cared for, the facility's consistency appears to be a significant point of contention.

Key Review Excerpts

However this was the NASTIEST FILTHIEST place I have ever seen. He was on the 400 hall and it was constantly dirty and sticky and things spilled. His room was nasty and filthy.

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

My mom was there a total of a week. She has now returned to the hospital due to lack of care and understanding for ALL staff. She has a feeding tube put in place with npo orders and they still gave her applesauce with her meds crushed up in and told to make sure she eats all of it

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My father spent eight weeks at the Greens at Viewmont in their short term rehab program after a long hospital stay. They facilitated a wonderful recovery for him and he his now home taking care of himself.
