What this means for your family

While Terrace View Gardens has a history of strong therapy and compassionate long-term care, recent reports indicate a decline in basic hygiene and aide responsiveness. We strongly advise families to conduct an unannounced visit to check room cleanliness and observe staff-to-resident interactions before making a decision.

Key Review Excerpts

The clinical staff was very good. The aids were terrible. Irritated when asked to assist, on their phones and not engaging with residence. On 4/29/24 my moms toilet over flowed and she was left to sit in her room with the stinch and discuss of feces for hours.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

I wouldn't send my dog there! I spent 5 days there for rehab. No bath in 5 days no help brushing teeth. No toilet paper in restroom . Food was horrible.

Rehab patient · 2026☆☆☆☆

We are extremely pleased with the care & respect our loved one is receiving. If we ever have questions or concerns they are answered or resolved within 24 hrs. The staff is phenomenal & so caring.

Terrace View Gardens has persistent fire safety issues, with sprinkler system deficiencies recurring across three surveys from 2018 to 2023. The facility shows a pattern of problems in care quality, medication management, and resident rights, with families filing at least three complaints that triggered inspections for infection control, vision/hearing services, and unnecessary medications. While all deficiencies were reportedly corrected, the recurring fire safety violations raise concerns about ongoing compliance.
