What this means for your family

While the facility is clean and conveniently located, families should be cautious regarding administrative transparency. We recommend asking for a detailed breakdown of all 'community fees' and inquiring about how they handle resident transitions if care needs change, as billing practices have been a point of contention.

Key Review Excerpts

We were very impressed with this facility, at a recent tour. Clean and pleasant place, friendly staff, many amenities. The location is stellar with walking distance to the mall, pharmacy and excellent bus connections right in front.

Prospective family member · 2026★★★★★

My sister, who has special needs and lives on a fixed income, was at Sterling assisted living for about 4 months. She really liked the location and her apartment. Unfortunately, we found that Sterling seemed to nickel and dime her for things that should've been covered by her insurance.

Family member of former resident · 2025★★☆☆☆

Would not recommend placing your loved one here the staff directors and nurses do not respond to residents for help and when guests need assistance locating someone or to assist with a simple question they will ihnore you to the point were they shut there office doors in your face.
