What this means for your family

This facility has a highly regarded rehabilitation and social services team that many families find helpful during transitions. However, due to recurring, serious reports of nursing neglect and slow response times, we strongly advise families to visit frequently, especially during evenings and weekends, to monitor the level of care your loved one receives.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

76 reviews on Google
Solaris Healthcare Imperial receives highly polarized reviews, with many families praising the rehabilitation therapy team and specific staff members like Stevie Rowley for their compassion and professionalism. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, poor hygiene, slow response times to call lights, and aggressive or dismissive behavior from some nursing and dining staff. While many short-term rehab patients report positive outcomes, the facility's reputation is marred by recurring allegations of inadequate care for long-term residents.

Key Review Excerpts

The CNA aids were a disgrace to say the least. They are cold hearted, lazy (sitting on their phones in the hallway while I'm setting up the room and my mom to make her more comfortable and when asked for something they just sat there and looked at me.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

They literally left my step father sitting in a urine soaked gown for almost 2 hours the other day. He told them 2x he needed to use the restroom and they ignored him.

Family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

The Doctors, Nurses and C.N.A.’s all did an amazing job. The PT and OT staff were fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and they developed plans to get my wife back to the baseline she was at as soon as possible.
