What this means for your family

While the facility offers a robust activity program and friendly staff, the recurring reports of neglect and slow response times are significant red flags. If you are considering this facility, we strongly recommend unannounced visits and asking specifically about their nurse-to-patient ratios during night and weekend shifts.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1I noticed you have a very active calendar; could you walk me through what a typical afternoon of activities looks like for a resident?
  • 2Since you have a strong physical therapy program, how do you coordinate those sessions with a resident's daily care and hygiene routine?
  • 3I see that your team is very responsive to online feedback; what is your process for communicating directly with families when a concern about a resident's daily needs arises?
  • 4Given the importance of medication safety, could you explain the oversight process your nursing team uses to ensure dosages and documentation are handled accurately?
  • 5How does your staff prioritize and manage call light responses during busy shifts to ensure residents aren't waiting too long for assistance?
  • 6What specific protocols do you have in place to maintain high standards of room cleanliness and sanitation throughout the week?

Key Review Excerpts

My 88 year old Grandmother was brought here after colon surgery. Not one day after, my family goes to check on her. She was covered in feces and had a fan blowing on her. It took over 30 minutes to have a nurse assist her.

Rehab patient's family member · 2023☆☆☆☆

If you care for your loved one, I would recommend looking somewhere else. My mother was here for about 24 hours. In that time, she was not provided her medication, they checked BP and oxygen 1 time (she is on oxygen), when the call button was hit, no one came for 30 minuets.

Rehab patient's family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The staff are warm, friendly and professional. The facility is clean and I always enjoy the activities they have with the residents/patients. They also provide excellent rehab to help transition back home.
