What this means for your family

Rose Linn Care Center is highly regarded for its compassionate nursing staff and end-of-life care, making it a potentially strong choice for clinical needs. However, families should be aware of persistent, serious complaints regarding food quality and management responsiveness. We strongly recommend visiting during meal times and speaking with current residents' families to verify if recent management changes have addressed these recurring operational issues.

Rose Linn Care Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the compassionate, attentive nursing staff and the facility's ability to provide comfort during end-of-life care. However, there is a consistent and concerning pattern of complaints regarding poor food quality, management responsiveness, and occasional staffing shortages. Families should be aware that while the clinical care is often lauded, the administrative and dining experiences have been significant pain points for several reviewers.

Key Review Excerpts

No place is perfect and we had our moments however, I am so glad I found this place for her because she was happy and safe the last months of her life. As a RN and having worked in a number of care facilities, I know what is acceptable and what is not. I observed that the staff are very caring

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

The food was completely unacceptable and unhealthy. Residents met with management twice while I was there. They said they would make changes but it did not happen. Staff would throw away the food right in front of us acknowledging it was trash.

Family member · 2025★★☆☆☆

Wonderful caring staff. They took excellent care of my Dad in his final day's. It takes very special people to do the difficult job they do everyday.
