What this means for your family

Ridgecrest Manor is highly regarded by many families for its engaging activities and compassionate staff, making it a strong candidate for long-term care. However, because multiple reviewers have raised serious concerns regarding neglect and slow response times during medical emergencies, we strongly recommend that you visit in person and ask specifically about their emergency protocols and how they handle communication with out-of-town family members.

Ridgecrest Manor receives a high volume of positive reviews praising the staff's compassion, the facility's cleanliness, and the variety of engaging activities provided for residents. However, a minority of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, poor communication, and slow emergency response times. Families should be aware that while many find it a 'home-like' environment, there are recurring reports of inconsistent care quality.

Key Review Excerpts

The rehab team did a great job with Dad. They taught dad a lot about life after a stroke. Ofcourse he will need help when he comes home but he will know what to do to also to help himself with the knowledge he's been given.

Rehab patient's family · 2026★★★★★

My father lives at Ridgecrest and he calls it his home. It was unfortunate to have to leave him in a nursing facility but after we saw how well he was taken care of my worries disapated! They treat him better than I could have ever imagined and are always notifying me of appointments or if he has anything happen, even down to the time he stubbed his toe.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★★

When staff was alerted, they fumbled around looking for a blood pressure test, and it took around 45 minutes for them to finally call an ambulance, and it was verified thaty enzymes were changing and another ' myocardial infarction' was building.
