What this means for your family

The facility is highly regarded for its smooth admissions process and clean environment, making it a popular choice for many families. However, given the serious reports of neglect and communication failures, we strongly advise families to conduct unannounced visits and ask specifically about the facility's protocol for updating families on medical changes.

However, there are serious, recurring allegations regarding neglect, poor communication during medical crises, and inadequate rehabilitation services for some patients. Families should weigh the positive administrative experiences against these significant concerns regarding clinical oversight and patient safety.

Key Review Excerpts

My dad was admitted in Feb of 2023 after a very serious medical episode. Brandon in admissions made the admission process easy and was such a great help. The rehab team met with me a couple of days after my dad’s admission to review their rehab plans and expectations.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

My wife was sent there by Memorial Hosital for rehabilitation. After 5 weeks she hasn't been out of her bed once. We were told there was staff and facilities there to help her with rehab that does not exist. Rehab does not happen.

Rehab patient's spouse · 2022☆☆☆☆

The communication sucks! While taking care of an resident when a regimen doesn’t work they don’t try to figure out what’s the next step or put together a new plan!! This is not good…and put the resident in a bad position.
