PruittHealth-Barnwell is highly regarded for its compassionate staff and proactive communication with families, making it a strong candidate for those prioritizing a caring environment. However, families should be aware of potential issues with meal quality and evening staffing levels; we recommend asking the administration how they handle dietary texture requirements and what their staffing ratios are during night shifts.

“My mother is here for a short stay and has been treated so well. She feels like she is treated like a person, not a patient who does not matter.”
