What this means for your family

While recent reviews highlight a very helpful admissions team and improved facility aesthetics, there is a persistent pattern of communication issues and reports of poor cleanliness. Before choosing this facility, we strongly recommend visiting in person to inspect the cleanliness of the rooms and asking for a direct contact number for the nursing station to bypass the main switchboard.

  • 5I see that the team actively engages with feedback online; how do you use that input from families to improve the daily quality of life and care for residents?
  • 6What does a typical day look like for a resident here, and how do you encourage participation in activities to keep them socially and physically active?

Key Review Excerpts

The admissions director was caring, professional, and thorough. The appearance of the building has also improved recently. Really impressed!

Family member · 2025★★★★★

I honestly don't know how this place is not shut down. Cockroaches everywhere. The building is filthy - walls, floors etc. His room would be shared with 3 other patients in very cramped quarters with just a curtain for privacy.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

My sisters and I are so thankful for Pruitt-Augusta taking care of our dad when we couldn’t. Daddy got to the point where we knew he couldn’t stay by himself and was literally on the verge of death. He has made a remarkable comeback and we know it is due to the wonderful people at Pruitt-Augusta.
