What this means for your family

Pheasant Wood Center has a dedicated nursing team that many families find compassionate, particularly in memory care and rehabilitation. However, because there are recurring, serious reports of neglect and poor facility maintenance, we strongly recommend that you visit unannounced and observe the cleanliness of the halls and the responsiveness of staff during off-hours before making a decision.

Key Review Excerpts

My 87 yr old Dad became a patient/resident one month ago today @ Pheasant Wood after 9 days in the hospital after a fall. His full Nursing Care and Speech, OT, and PT as well as the Admin Team have all exceeded our expectations.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★

My father was taken there for temporary rehab, He spent less than 24hrs when he signed himself out.. He asked for help at 7:30am with personal care, family got there just after 10:30am and he had not yet had the help he needed.. Total neglect!

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

The food was terrible. I was put in a 14 day quantine... There was no housekeeping- the floors were filthy, my bed was never changed, and the toilet was filled with rust stains.
