A relicensure survey was completed on 7/8/25. A deficiency was cited. A change of ownership occurred on 1/23/23. Based on observation, record review and interview, the residence failed to ensure there was at least one staff member onsite at all times with current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and obstructed airway techniques from a nationally recognized organization and shall include a skills assessment observed and evaluated by an instructor, affecting 42 current residents who may require obstructed airway techniques. Findings include:On 7/8/25 at approximately 9:30 a.m., the residence provided CPR certifications; however, the certifications for 20 CPR were not from a nationally recognized organization.
