What this means for your family

This facility's rehabilitation department is frequently praised for its effectiveness, making it a potential choice for short-term recovery. However, families must be aware of consistent reports regarding neglect, hygiene issues, and slow response times. If you choose this facility, we strongly recommend daily, unannounced visits to ensure your loved one's needs are being met.

Google Reviews

134 reviews on Google
NSPIRE Healthcare Plantation receives highly polarized reviews, with many families reporting severe neglect, poor communication, and hygiene issues, while others praise specific staff members and the rehabilitation program. While some patients report positive experiences with therapy and individual nurses, a significant pattern of complaints regarding call-light response times, medication errors, and lack of basic hygiene persists over several years. Families should be aware that experiences appear to vary drastically depending on the specific staff on duty and the level of daily oversight provided by family members.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother was sent to Nspire Healthcare Plantation for rehabilitation, we were understandably anxious—it was one of the most difficult times in our lives. While the building itself is older and could use some renovations, the level of care we received far outweighed the appearance.

Rehab patient's family · 2025★★★★★

The staff refused to give my mother her medication until she saw a doctor but they did not have a doctor to provide at the moment so my mom was left 3 days with none of her medication or any type of pain medication after having two surgeries done back to back.

Rehab patient's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My grandmother would call me late at night saying she had been left sitting in her own feces, and when meals were delivered, no help was offered. It felt as though she was expected to eat while soiled, which was heartbreaking.

This facility shows a concerning pattern of recurring deficiencies across multiple care areas, with families filing six complaints that triggered inspections. The most persistent problems involve medication management, food safety and nutrition, and electrical/safety systems, with food safety violations appearing in three separate surveys. While all deficiencies have correction dates, the repeated nature of issues in core care areas like medication safety suggests ongoing quality challenges families should carefully consider.
