When I was visiting, the call light was pushed because he had to go to the restroom and needed assistance. After 30 minutes, I went to find someone asking them to help. Then finally after another 10 minutes or so, staff member showed up.

Nodaway Healthcare has a pattern of recurring deficiencies across nursing staffing, fire safety systems, and resident rights management, with families filing at least two complaints regarding pain management and financial handling. The facility shows persistent issues with registered nurse coverage, fire safety equipment maintenance, and infection control protocols appearing repeatedly from 2022 through 2025. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the recurring nature of similar problems suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should consider carefully.
