What this means for your family

While some families report positive experiences with end-of-life care, the recent, severe allegations of neglect regarding basic hygiene and nutrition are deeply concerning. We strongly advise you to conduct unannounced visits and speak directly with current residents' families to verify the quality of daily care before making a decision.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff went out of their way to not only make his transition easier, but they were extremely attentive to our needs as a grieving family. They took exceptional care of him; his room was always spotless and he was well groomed.

Long-term resident's family · 2016★★★★★

Mountian View has been such a blessing to us for the excellent care and compassion they have show our 98 year old Mother.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

I’ve never Seen such an abhorrent and disgusting neglected facility. My brother has no other options than to stay there. He’s Got leukemia and Epilepsy and diabetes, which requires nursing care. Yet they have let him be unbathed, unshaven and unfed.

Major recurring issues involve resident rights violations, abuse protection failures, medication management problems, and food safety concerns. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the high volume and serious nature of complaints about abuse protection and resident dignity suggest ongoing systemic challenges that families should carefully consider.
