What this means for your family

While the facility has undergone renovations and has staff members who are praised for their kindness, the recent trend of reviews indicates significant issues with understaffing and hygiene. We strongly recommend visiting during a weekend or evening shift to observe staffing levels firsthand and asking management specifically about their current protocols for hygiene and call-light response times.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff is super pleasant and friendly. It’s a big facility and so it of course makes sense that they are thinned out, especially when every patient has specific needs that occur all at once.

Rehab patient · 2024★★★★★

My mom was placed in this facility for physical therapy from a surgery and speech therapy as well. If I knew then what I know and seen I wouldn’t take a sick skunk there.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The staff at sandstone are so nice especially with all they have to do! Facility older with very kind staff. The reason for the 2 star rating boils down to being short staffed.
