What this means for your family
While some families report excellent experiences with the staff, there are serious allegations regarding understaffing and the handling of dementia patients. We strongly recommend visiting the facility unannounced to check for cleanliness and observing staff interactions with residents to ensure they are equipped to handle complex behavioral needs.

Key Review Excerpts
“The ENTIRE staff from admissions, clerical, maintenance, janitorial, kitchen , activities and nursing are so kind and caring. They are ALL attentive to the residents and the family ALL the time.”
“When I first entered I walked through a makeshift archway full of second-hand smoke. The door opens to a pungent odor of urine. The building is old but apparently clean. He did have a nice bed. My family member had dementia. He could be difficult. Staff took his behaviors personally.”
“Very nice, caring and attentive staff. My father was only there for not even a day but he had much better care here, than at the hospitals.”
