Mayberry Gardens has historically been praised for its warm, home-like atmosphere and compassionate staff, but recent reviews from 2024 indicate a significant decline in quality following a change in ownership. While older reviews highlight excellent care and great meals, newer feedback warns of poor communication, declining food quality, and concerns regarding staff responsiveness and resident supervision.

Key Review Excerpts
“The new management has set the bar for assisted living facilities on the ground. Where to begin. My mother had a stroke in 2004 but lived with my father until he passed. She is physically disabled but otherwise fine. We chose this facility because of its location and the fact it claimed to have physical therapy available as well as activities for the residents. The new management fired the events coordinator and the therapy”
“My dad was well taken care of and proud to call Mayberry his final home. I believe the “homey atmosphere” is what made this place special as well as my dad delivered meals on wheels here years ago. If there was a problem, the new owner and management did their best to correct the problem in a timely manner.”
“I searched for a few months to find a great place for my dad that would be within our budget. I couldn't have hoped for a better place than Mayberry Gardens. Finding it was a true Godsend. They treat my dad with great care and respect.”
