Key Review Excerpts
“The new management has set the bar for assisted living facilities on the ground. Where to begin. My mother had a stroke in 2004 but lived with my father until he passed. She is physically disabled but otherwise fine. We chose this facility because of its location and the fact it claimed to have physical therapy available as well as activities for the residents. The new management fired the events coordinator and the therapy”
“My dad was well taken care of and proud to call Mayberry his final home. I believe the “homey atmosphere” is what made this place special as well as my dad delivered meals on wheels here years ago. If there was a problem, the new owner and management did their best to correct the problem in a timely manner.”
“The staff was diligent about seeing that he got his medications at the correct times and at the even the correct meal. Dad liked the variety of food served at the meals, and could tell them if there was something he didn't fancy on his plate. They would make a substitution.”
