Key Review Excerpts

The Homestead staff treated my mother and my family like we were their own family. They were very flexible with her accommodations and helped us without fuss both times my mom needed to move apartments while she was there.

Long-term resident's family · 2021★★★★★

Since the VOA sold the Homestead to Monarch industries we've had a few conflicts. I've tried to contact management to deal with these issues twice and nobody has gotten back to me. They've authorized treatments without proper okay from us and have failed to explain or to clarify various expenses on the monthly bill.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

I was having grand mall seizures and none of the staff was helping me the newborns were yelling for help and it took them 45min to come and see me and did not do much for my family was not very Happy with Monarch place they had to take me out of there before something bad happens to me

16 complaint-triggered

Families filed multiple complaints that triggered inspections at this facility, with recurring deficiencies in care planning, basic daily care assistance, and resident safety. Most concerning are repeat issues with accident prevention, proper treatment delivery, and developing adequate care plans that persist across multiple surveys. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the pattern of complaints and recurring problems in fundamental care areas suggests ongoing quality concerns families should carefully evaluate during visits.
