What this means for your family
This facility's physical therapy department is highly regarded and may be effective for short-term recovery. However, the recurring, serious allegations regarding basic nursing care and patient neglect are significant red flags; if you choose this facility, ensure you have a plan for frequent, in-person monitoring of your loved one.

77 reviews on Google“Manchester Rehab and Healthcare Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the physical therapy department and recent facility renovations. However, a significant number of reviewers report severe concerns regarding basic care, including allegations of neglect, failure to assist with feeding, and the development of pressure sores. Potential families should be aware of the stark contrast between the positive experiences of some rehab patients and the distressing reports of inadequate nursing oversight.”

Key Review Excerpts
“My mother is a resident and went in to this facility for rehabilitation after a surgery. She has declined severely and hasn't been getting fed. She needed help feeding her self and required OT for that and other reasons and could sit up when she got there but is now bed ridden and shows no sign of recovery with stage 4bedsores.”
“The therapy (Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy) team is outstanding. I would not be getting up or walking without them. About 90% of the CNA’s are great. The Housekeeping department is wonderful; they have met my personal needs with laundry and cleaning my room.”
“My Mother was a resident at this facility for several months. My family and I attempted to advocate for her care and found the staff to be polite and pleasant, but functionally unable to provide appropriate care. Parkinson’s meds were not given on a consistent schedule causing my mother to struggle greatly with symptoms.”
