Key Review Excerpts

The facility was very clean and the nurses and CNAs were very nice and polite. They answered all of our questions patiently. I've also stayed with patients as a caregiver in this facility and I can say that they treat their patients well and they really focus on cleanliness. The therapy department is also top notch!

Family member of rehab patient · 2022★★★★★

Facility is not very clean. Prescription pills were found under the beds. Staff is friendly but not overly attentive to residents. Scheduled meds are not given according to doctors orders.

Family member · 2019☆☆☆☆

This facility is very old and could use an upgrade, the staff was kind and caring, and my lil sister looked comfortable.

Maison Teche has ongoing challenges with care planning appearing across multiple years, plus families have filed complaints triggering inspections. The facility repeatedly struggles with care planning, resident rights protections, and medication management. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the pattern of recurring issues in care planning and the fact that families felt compelled to file formal complaints suggests persistent care quality concerns that families should investigate thoroughly.
