What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded for its clean environment and effective physical therapy programs. However, families should be aware of recurring reports regarding slow response times to call lights and potential gaps in basic care during off-hours. We recommend visiting during different times of the day and asking specifically about the nurse-to-patient ratio on weekends.

Life Care Center of Lawrenceville receives a high volume of positive reviews, particularly from families of short-term rehab patients who praise the clean, well-maintained facility and friendly staff. However, a recurring pattern of negative feedback highlights significant concerns regarding understaffing, slow response times to call lights, and inconsistent quality of nursing care. While many visitors are impressed by the environment, families should be aware of these potential lapses in responsiveness and basic care standards.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff is dedicated attentive and I believe it is because a culture of caring is in place. Admittedly, the transition from the hospital and first evening were bumpy and difficult but I am convinced it was a unique circumstance.

Long-term resident's family · 2024

My dad has been in and out of 3 rehab centers in the last 6 months; it’s been a rough road for him. The other rehabs were nice and had positives, however, LifeCare Center of Lawrenceville is all around the best one we have encountered.

Rehab patient's family · 2024

The amount of care is minimal. If the loved one does not visit the patient, the patient will not eat. On several occasions my husband lunch tray would be untouched until I arrived at 3 pm after working for 8.5 hours.
