Lehigh Acres Healthcare & Rehab Center receives polarized feedback, with many families praising the dedicated activities department and specific staff members for their compassionate care. However, significant concerns regarding medical negligence, poor communication, and facility cleanliness—specifically reports of pests and cold, inadequate food—are frequently cited by dissatisfied families. Prospective families should weigh the strong social programming against the serious reports of inconsistent nursing oversight.

Key Review Excerpts

The activities department is the best thing about this place. The ladies are very nice.

Family member · 2024★★★★★

My husband was a patient there and had a few stitches in shin removed at Dr.s office. He sent orders to nurses to have infection wound treated and to put on antibiotics. They never followed up with orders and the infection got very bad and never treated properly until a huge hole occurred all the way to the bone.

Spouse of patient · 2026☆☆☆☆

My mother was in there for a month, and I have no complaints, the staff is very nice and professional, all the physical therapy staff are very good and friendly, my mom made a lot of progress.
